Mirror, mirror on the wall!

I have had a fantastic day at a workshop run by Barbara Daines at Langley Burrell, near Chippenham in Wiltshire where we made these lovely mirrors.  Had great fun making mine, it could have done with being a bit more colourful, but I am still quite happy with it, hope you like it too.

Happy Easter 2!

Two cards blogged in one day!!

For this card I started off inking through this lovely Daisy Mask with Ripe Persimmon and Mustard Seed Distress Ink by Ranger.  I then covered the whole area with a double sided adhesive sheet and then poured micro beads over it.  For the centre I stamped my sentiment onto the smallest die from the Ornate pierced squares and inked while still in the die.  I mounted this onto the next die up from the same set which I cut from Foundation Gloss card.  I used the outer edge of the same set to make a frame, also using the second largest die from the Spellbinder Grand Decorative Labels One for the border of the frame.  I finished off with a large white bow, yellow organza rose and two pearl stick pins.

Happy Easter!

Hello everyone, sorry I have not blogged for a while but time goes by so quickly these days, I don't seem to have time!  I have just been over to France for a few days to meet my newest Granddaughter Tess who was born on the 12th February, needless to say I think she is gorgeous, just like my other 7 Grandchildren!!

Back to the card, I have used the beautiful Floral Brocade embossing folder by Sue Wilson for the background.  I cut the bottom at an angle using the Orion Die, also by Sue Wilson!  I think there is a lot of Sue Wilson on this card! Lol. For the centre piece I used St Lucia from the Caribbean Island collection (by Sue Wilson) the flowers are from the Finishing Touches, Cornflower and the small green bits are the Delicate Fronds (I love these)!   The sentiment is from JustRite Stitched Flowers Vintage Tags.
