Glamoureyes Digi Stamps

Hi everyone, sorry it has been a long time since I last blogged.  I have had a busy few weeks with family visiting and then my son who lives in France, got married on 20th July, so I have had a quick trip to France too!

I am delighted to be on the design team for a new range of stamps and digi stamps by Glamoureyes, the very talented Sarah Mauchline!  This is a range you must look out for, Sarah is an established children's illustrator and also has her own range of digi kits on Daisytrail for all you Serif fans out there!

Here are a few of the cards I have made using the new stamps, hope you like them.

Andy Skinner Workshop

Today I spent a very enjoyable 6 hours at an Andy Skinner workshop where we learnt to do an image transfer with crackle effect.  It was great fun, a bit messy but that is what crafting is all about!

Two for the men and one for the ladies!

Hello again, today I have two for the men and one for the ladies!  All these cards are made using stamps by the lovely talented Sam Poole.  I just love the Owl stamp, I think he has such character and looks great as both male and female, what do you think?

Dream!

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend.  The weather here has been lovely, seems ages since I have been able to sit out in the sun, lets hope Spring is here to stay!

I have had fun making this plaque which I bought at Ally Pally last weekend, hope you like it too.

I painted it with Kaiser Dusty Pink and Spearmint, just dapped it on with a sponge until I was happy with I next stamped it with the bubble stamp and embossed it with white embossing powder.  Around the edges of the words I rubbed some gilding wax.

Free Your Imagination!

Love these stamps from Visible Image!  This is a quick simple card to make but looks quite striking.  I started with an A5 rainbow coloured card stock which I stamped with the Large Tall Grass, i used Memento Tuxedo Black which I then clear embossed.  I did the same with the large and small butterfly stamps.  I then inked over the card using Adirondack Cloudy Blue for the top and Adirondack Meadow for the bottom half.  I used the sentiment from the Free Your Imagination stamp set and inked over this too to match  the rest of the card.  I mounted the stamped image onto some black card stock before mounting on to a nice green card by Hunkydory.  To finish off I stuck three black pearls to the top right hand side.

14 April

I had a lovely day at Ally Pally yesterday and made this card for the lovely Sue Wilson
who I really think is The Best and so Inspires me, so the sentiments on here are perfect!

For this card I have used the Art house stamps from the lovely Sam Poole.  I really love and admire her work and  I am trying to get more into this way of crafting, I have enjoyed using my melt pot for the textured 'bubbles' on the bottom corner, gilding wax for the background and gilding flakes for the border.

I had already put this card in a cello bag when I remembered I had forgotten to take a picture, so please excuse the photo. The sentiment on here is from Visible Image, they make lovely stamps and Helen and Mark are such a lovely couple who I have had the pleasure of meeting twice now, along with Cheremane.  The  roses stamp on the card are also made by them.

Good afternoon everyone!  Can't believe it is February already, where has the time gone to???  My oldest son's wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on 26th January, she wasn't due until 19th March so has taken us all by surprise being over 7 weeks early and weighing in at 4lbs 1oz.  She is doing well but will not be home for around another week or so.

As I haven't posted anything for a while, I have a few things to show you today.

These are my very first attempt at doing an ATC for the craft swap group I belong to (Crafty Card Swap on Facebook) if anyone would like to join us you would be made more than welcome!!!

Hearts & Flowers
The hearts I made using my new Melting Pot, great fun!

The next 3 cards are also for my card swap group, this month the Theme is Black, Red & White.
Naughty but nice!

This card I have made for a friends Aunt who will be 92 in March!  This one is for my son's partner, she is French so hope she likes the French Theme!

This one I made from the new Kanban kit and it is for my friends, friend who is 60 next month.
